5th annual Swingin for Sadie will be held on August 27th, 2016 in Mulenburg County Kentucky. We would like to make this the most successful year ever!!!  All monies go towards a scholarship fund in Sadie's name to be handed out to qualifying students. Swingin' For Sadie Scholarship Fund

We will be hosting the first annual Swingin' for Sadie Coed Softball Tournament on September 29, 2012. All proceeds are going to the Sadie Beth Smith Scholarship fund. Help make a difference in a young adults life today!

TEN DAYS

Ten days made such a difference
It made a county pray
It brought them all together
Unlike any other days

The children brought prayer to school
Where we know it’s not allowed
But for ten days the children stood eyes closed, heads bowed.

Ten days was all it took to bring a county to it’s knees
And strangers standing side by side asking God to hear their pleas
Her mission was accomplished ending not the way we’d thought
But in just ten days she had done what others just could not

And I know I heard the angel wings as they rustled by her side
I know I saw the angel tears as they fell from Heavenly skies
I know I felt the touch of Jesus as the angels cleared the way
So He could take her in His arms to celebrate her Re-Birth Day

I felt the warmth of my Lord as He bent and kissed her cheek
And then He held her in His arms
And gave her the comfort for which we all seek

Her arms around His shoulders
And her head upon His chest
Quietly he carried her to the place where she would rest
The angels knelt in silence to honor all she’d done
And all she had accomplished for the Father and the Son

I saw them rise and lift their hands in praise unto the Lord
Then they joined their hands together for the child we all adored
Suddenly a light shone round us as Heaven opened wide
And Jesus carried Sadie over to the other side

We will never forget the ten days
That joined those near and far
She changed our hearts forever
Heaven’s newest shining star...

I would like to take this time to thank each and everyone of you who have prayed, donated, brought food, taken care of animals, drove the "cheese wagon" for April, covered Brian's shifts at work, helped Hannah at school, along with anything else you have done.  Everything is SO SO appreciated.  We continue to pray for the family.  They are something special.  Again, thank you from all of us.
